I decided to buy a wind up door bell because I was fed up of my current doorbell, which was wireless, ringing at different times of the day, as apparently it picked up reception from my neighbour's door bells which were also wireless. Anyway, i was a bit worried at first because for the price it seemed a lot smaller than I imagined, but once it was fitted it was perfect and a lot louder than I thought too. I am able to hear it from the kitchen at the back of my house very clearly.
